About ME.

Mark O’Connell and Eddie Reyes were there from the beginning. As founding members of Taking Back Sunday, they helped write Tell All Your Friends, the platinum-selling album that defined a genre.

Their chemistry shaped some of the most iconic songs in early 2000s emo and post-hardcore, anchoring the chaos with drums and guitars that just knew each other.

But as the years went on, egos got louder, control took priority over creativity, and collaboration broke down. After stepping away from what they helped build, the two found themselves back in each other’s orbit, thanks in part to Eddie’s son, a relentless manager, and a twist of timing that finally felt right.

For the first time in over a decade, Mark and Eddie are making music together again their way.  ME. is a new project, born from the freedom they haven’t felt since Tell All Your Friends. There’s no fixed frontperson or formulas. It's just raw, open-ended collaboration between two old friends and whoever feels right for the song. Some will be familiar names. Others will be total unknowns. What matters here is the honesty.

ME. isn’t about recreating what once was. It’s about reclaiming what was stolen, the joy of making music that’s real, together.

Recorded at Applehead Studios in Woodstock, NY with producer Chris Bittner, ME.'s debut album brings that raw energy into the present, with a rotating cast of vocalists and a sound that nods to the past without being stuck in it. It’s not about going back. It’s about finally moving forward.

This is ME.

You'll know it when you hear it.
